Environmental & Spatial Graphics

A presentation is not a document. It is a performance support tool. The slides exist to reinforce what the presenter is saying, not to replace them. When a slide deck tries to carry the whole argument in text, it fails as a presentation and as a document. The best decks do one thing very well: they make the presenter look like they know what they are talking about.

We design presentations for two primary contexts: investor conversations and sales situations. In both cases, the same principles apply. The design should be invisible: it should not distract from the content, but it should create a visual standard that signals the quality of the organisation behind the slides.

Content structure before design

We review the content structure before any design work starts. A narrative that does not work on paper will not work on slides. We are willing to provide structural feedback and recommendations, but we do not write the content. If the content needs to be written before the deck can be designed, we can introduce copywriting partners on request.

Templates that get used

Most presentation design projects deliver a template that looks great in the initial version and then deteriorates as soon as anyone else touches it. We design slide systems with internal style logic, named layouts, and clear usage rules documented in the file itself. The template should work correctly without us being in the room.
